Nigel has a strong consultancy base including strategic planning, project management, information management with a wealth of experience across the public and private sector.

Nigel has specific experience in search and selection, requirements gathering, business case development and implementation of Contact Relationship Management Systems (CRM), Content Management Systems (CMS) and Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) projects. Additionally, Nigel has led other major IT business system deployments, upgrades and product development projects which have successfully improved organisational performance.

He has developed Information Services Strategic Plans (ISSPs) and undertaken strategic planning for a range of public and private sector clients. Nigel has also developed business cases based on the Treasury Better Business Case model and core business system reviews including business process review and gap fit analysis for a range of clients.

Nigel also brings over 10 years of information management experience reporting to senior management level in public, academic and special libraries in the United Kingdom and New Zealand as well as specific knowledge management experience in the public sector.

His committed attitude, strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail has lead to successfully closing client engagements that have met their key objectives, been delivered on time and within budget. Nigel also brings excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of clients from senior management to operational staff and third party vendors.

When not working, Nigel keeps active by trail running, kayaking and playing squash or tennis.
